My Brown Suede Button Bangle…

I was on a kick to create a BUTTON bangle bracelet that I can actually wear all year round without feeling too heavy or bulky! Your probably thinking but it’s suede – it’s okay be daring! We’ve all seen these large statement bracelets – I’m going to show you how to create your own!

Materials:

  • BUTTONS! La Mode: 27001; 26265; 26697; 26285; 26302; 27004; 26764; 27006; 27008. The Collection: 4507 (vintage flower)
  •  bangle bracelet (any color) approx. 2 inch wide
  • suede cord
  • glue adhesive
  • hot glue
  • Favorite Findings Button Shank Remover #700

To begin dab some glue on the underside of bracelet and begin wrapping the suede around the bracelet adding glue as you go along.

Once you’ve completely covered the bracelet – cut cord and add glue to secure (let this dry).

Next starting with your largest button – center onto the bangle add adhesive (I used hot glue for this portion) add the vintage flower button to the center of this button. Continue adding buttons until you’ve achieved the look you want.  You may need to remove the shanks of the buttons – use the Button Shank Remover to carefully remove this.

I did not go completely around the bangle – I only did half of the bracelet.

 And guess what you’re done! Now you have a  “statement” button bangle bracelet!
