Good Morning everyone and welcome back to part 2 of my Michaels Cruise Recap! As promised I felt that Button Crafting needed it’s own blog and so sit back and enjoy the photos and get inspired!
We had many women on the cruise who never created jewelry with buttons! I can guarantee you that this will not be the last…
The necklace above was created by Julee Shepard, who designs jewelry as a therapeutic means while going through treatment for Breast Cancer. She is a survivor from Stage 3 Breast Cancer – Congratulations Julee. It was such a ploeasure to meet her.
Busy, busy no time to even have a sip of their Pina Colada!
Some buttons, hand drill, wire, beads, bale – and a necklace has been created!
Sheri created this great necklace
You can complete this with ribbon or adding a gold link chain…
One of the ladies created this cute Button Ring. Why not get creative and present it in a cupcake display! This would be great for a girls party favor!
Gail from Cruise One created her necklace with one continuous “Fun Wire”
Above necklace created by Julee Shepard.
With a bit of imagination and creativity you can create wonderful pieces such as this from one on our crafters…
I hope you all enjoyed the photos as much as I enjoyed teaching and creating with the lovelty ladies. Remember you can create your pendant, ring or drop necklace – visit your local Michaels Craft Store and choose from the many Loops & Thread Stackable Button styles that match your personality and start creating!
Visit my blog from February 22, 2011, where I posted a tutorial on how to create a Button Pendandt!
Thanks for stopping by and HAPPY CRAFTING!
