Hello everyone =) I hope you’re enjoying the summer so far! I’m writing today to show off the shiny new Le Bouton line available at Walmart for your sewing and crafting pleasure! Some of you may not be aware of our Le Bouton sewing buttons being available exclusively at Walmart! Just look for the Sewing and Craft section.
The Line includes everything from a super cute array of pastel baby buttons, adorable cartoon painted wood buttons, playful oversized buttons in prime colors, to glamorous crystalized pieces that are perfect for special occasions. These buttons are great for replacements on children’s clothes and DIY crafting/sewing projects for kids. Themes are nautical, opulent, fun and bright, and baby-like. I used this baby dress pattern to make a little girl’s dress adorned with our Le Bouton red heart shaped buttons and small red shank buttons, a heart shaped adhesive patch, and rickrack. The fabric is also from Walmart.. so you will have everything you need right there in the sewing and craft aisle!!
I fell in love with the wooden nautical themed buttons and had to use it for a DIY lunch bag. My pick was the crab button, and I used a Simplicty pattern, as well as denim and bandana print fabric available at Walmart.
I made a simple, but fun project using the wooden toggles for a decorative pillow, as well as a bandana print pillow case with the 2 1/2 inch white button.
