Be Mine – Pink Button Heart!

I know, I know – but once you start you can’t stop! I promise to control myself – but you must admit it’s fun…I know that I’ve already posted this on our FB and we also created a tutorial on You Tube.  If you haven’t seen it – it’s fun…

Here’s the Heart I created – however, I didn’t mention how I started…

I began with a 8 x 8 stretched white canvas that I just had lying around.  I painted it pink with Folk Art – Baby Pink by Plaid (I did however add some white to lighten). Traced my heart template onto the canvas started glueing.  I added some aging to the corners and along the edges with a stencil brush (you can go as light or as dark as you wish).  Final step add a bow –  1 1/2″ wide pink ribbon to the corner of your heart… Lastly…hang or place on a stand and enjoy!
