These fun and fabulous Oversize Button Rings are the perfect project for kids (and adults) who love to play dress-up! For this project you will need about an hour – depending on how many of these great rings you plan to make! You will also need to plan to let the glue dry for 24 hours.
To make these Oversize Button Rings, you will need the following materials:
Adjustable Ring Bases
Heavy Duty Glue
Buttons
Use a variety of buttons in large, medium and small sizes. I started with a base button that has a 1-3/8” diameter and used progressively smaller buttons. Here are some of the buttons that I used:

Crafting with Buttons Aqua, Purple and Green 470001905
La Mode Purple Flower 400045998
Favorite Findings Pink Blooms 550001550
Favorite Findings Matte Rose Bloom 550001428
Favorite Findings Matte Limeade 550001425A
Favorite Findings Matte Ocean Water 550001422
Once you have all your materials ready, clear a space and get ready to create!
To begin, select the buttons and embellishments you would like to use for each ring. Layer 2 to 3 buttons per ring and glue together. Allow the glue to set for a few minutes and then turn the button stack upside down. Next, apply glue to the top of the ring base and press onto the bottom of the buttons. Set the finished rings aside, button-side down, and allow the glue to completely dry for at least 24 hours.
These Oversize Button Rings are great favors for a birthday party or an easy craft project for a rainy day. Let the kids create holiday rings for every season: Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, or St. Patrick’s Day! There are so many fun shapes and colors in our button line, the combinations are endless!
HAPPY CRAFTING!!
