Cut ten 30 inch pieces of blue yarn. Fold each in half and slip the ends through the hoop over the wood bar. Pull tight to secure.
Using the straight pins, pin the bar and yarn ends to a piece of foam core. This will help hold everything in place as you weave in each of the elements.
Begin weaving in and out with pieces of yarn, ribbon and trim, alternating the weave as you go.
Using your main yarn, weave a few rows then add on the moon and star buttons. Continue weaving with yarns and ribbons. Add the owl button 1/3 of the way down. Place the toggle just below him as a perch.
Keep weaving and adding on the rest of the buttons and elements as you go.
Tie up the yarn ends with box knots to secure. Trim the ends
Cut a length of twine and tie to the dowel on each side of your Button Weave Wall Hanging. Use this to hang your new creation!
