Getting Ready For Quilt Market 2012

As we pack up our quilts embellished with BUTTONS and head off to Houston at the end of the week, I wanted to share with you several quilts that I fell in love with this year!

I started scoping blogs, Pinterest, Etsy sites, designers that we knew and found several that I thought looked great but even better with our BUTTONS! I will post several today…but I will post more when we come home.

But before I do, I wanted to share with you a young lady I found via Pinterest! Her name is Carol Turznik – make sure to visit her at https://mamacjt.blogspot.com. (dated October 19, 2012 – Something Old) I was so excited by all her quilts and just couldn’t figure out which one! She was so sweet by sending me photos of what she had  available and I fell in love with one of her pieces called “Prairie Flowers” done in a crayon technique.

In this quilt Carol used our Favorite Findings Mini and Favorite Finding Colors Buttons…

I also ended up picking up these cute pin cushions which I embellished with our Favorite Finding Mini Ladybugs! Too cute…

So several weeks later I received an email from Carol and she happen to say she created a new quilt “THE BUTTON TREE” Visit her blog dated September 20 – “I Love Buttons” Yes I must say I did indeed purchase this quilt….First look at the quilt and then just by adding our buttons – what a difference! It’s beautiful and it’s called

“THE BUTTON TREE”

I’m so happy to have met Carol – her quilts are just fun, whimsical and so fresh! I’m sure these won’t be my last pieces from Carol…Thank you again!

If you happen to be in Houston on October 27 – 29, 2012 make to stop by our booth and check out all the fun quilts we’ve embellished with our BUTTONS!

HAPPY CRAFTING!
