This time of the year I get so inspired and with all the GREAT Halloween buttons that we carry and how can I not! So here is my Halloween Greeting card that I made with La Mode Halloween Buttons and Favorite Findings.
Materials needed:
1 card La Mode #1261 - Candy Corn
1 card La Mode #1262 - Pumpkins
1 Pack Favorite Findings Mini Black & Orange #1317
White card stock (folded) 5 x 5
Scrapbook paper - purple, black, pattern
embroidery floss - black & orange
ribbon
pop dots
Favorite Findings Shank Remover
scissors
Here is a close-up of the carded buttons – which are available at Jo-Anns Fabric and Craft Stores.
Cut scrapbook paper 5 x 10. Glue to card stock. Trim excess
Cut scrapbook paper - 1 black square - 4 1/2 x 4 1/2; 4-pattern paper 2 x 2; 4-black paper 1 1/2 x 1 1/2; 1-purple strup 5 x 1/4.
Center black square paper on top of the card - glue. Add purple strip to the center - glue.
Before gluing lay out your paper to determine placement - use photo as guide to glue black squares on top of pattern paper.
place pop dots on back of pattern paper (center) adhere to card stock.
With your Favorite Findings Button Shank Remover – carefully remove the shanks from the back of the 2 pumpkins and 2 candy corn buttons. Glue to center of each square as shown.
Locate 8 orange mini Favorite Finding buttons – using black thread weave floss and knot on top. Glue to corners as shown in photo.
Glue a 4 1/2″ long ribbon to the center of the purple strip. Add “Happy Halloween” banner. Add 2 black Favorite Findings mini buttons to the ends (use orange embroidery floss). Glue.
Add your Halloween Greetings and mail. (Remember to write “hand cancel” on the outside of the envelope).
